Berkeley – USA, 6 August 2019 – PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (“Telin”) and Roambee Corporation (“Roambee”) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the collaboration of reselling Roambee’s service to Telin’s customers, namely real-time monitoring of goods and assets indoors, outdoors and in-transit. EVP Carrier Enterprise Sales Telin – Azmal Yahya and CEO Telin USA – Joseph Sahat Raja, presented on the signing ceremony event on behalf of Chief Commercial Officer Telin – Budi Satria Dharma Purba who signed the agreement with CEO and Chairman Roambee, Sanjay Sharma. Budi did not join the event due to the pilgrimage leave. The signing ceremony event took place at WeWork, 2120 University Ave, Berkeley, USA on Tuesday, August 6^th, 2019.

Telkom’s executive leaders joined the ceremony as witnesses they are Edwin Hidayat Abdullah and Cahyana Ahmadjayadi as Board of Commisioners, Director Digital Business Telkom – Faizal R. Djoemadi, EVP Strategic Investment Telkom – Setyanto Hantoro, and  President Director PT Mitra Digital Investama (MDI) – Nicko Widjaja.

The collaboration enables Telin to be the official distributor of Roambee in Asia. Telin will offer the service via Roambee’s Equipment and access to cloud software and services as part of the subscription. These devices will be affixed in Customers’ assets of choice while being monitored by  Customers using the Roambee Honeycomb Platform. Customers will be able to track these assets indoors, outdoors and in-transit. For Telin, this collaboration will enhance the company’s portfolio and adding new business opportunities for either existing or new partners.

Prior to this agreement, there has been a collaboration between Roambee and MDI, a corporate venture capital initiative by Telkom Indonesia. MDI is one of the investors for Roambee since June 2018.
