Azmal Yahya currently serves as the Chief of Product at Telin and the Chairman of Telin in Malaysia. With three decades of extensive experience, he excels in managing business operations, entering new markets, acquiring key accounts, securing deals, driving revenue growth, deploying business models to enhance business revenues, and fostering a teamwork environment to achieve market-share metrics. He also holds the position of Chairman of Telin in Malaysia.
As Chief of Product, Azmal identifies policies, strategies, management, marketing, innovation mechanisms, and new product/service development to support the Company’s North Star in wholesale and digital enterprise segments. This includes ensuring the readiness and quality of new products/services and projecting their profit & loss. He also ensures product availability strategy and readiness for related segments, conducts product analysis such as gap analysis to establish differentiation and execution strategies, and assesses performance.
Previously, Azmal held several strategic roles, including EVP Carrier Enterprise & Group Head Strategic Alliance at Telin, Senior Vice President of Product at Telin, Vice President of Global Enterprise at TM Enterprise, and Senior Manager of International Partners Solutions at Verizon Business, among others.
He holds a Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) from Universiti Utara Malaysia, Kedah.
Azmal has also completed the Executive Program in Leadership: The Effective Use of Power from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and the Strategic Leadership Program from Kellogg Executive Education.
