About

Indarto Nata is the CEO of Telin in Singapore and the Global Head Regional I Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand (SEAN), overseeing business operations and performance across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, Timor-Leste, Australia, and New Zealand. He holds 25 years of experience in international retail, wholesale, and enterprise business operations, including mobile cellular, mobile content and application, international messaging systems, network design and operation, retail distribution management, data center business, and enterprise solutions.

In addition to his role at Telin, Indarto serves as the Non-Executive Director of Telin in both Australia and Malaysia.

Previously, Indarto was the Chief Executive Officer of Telin in Hong Kong and Macau, responsible for the company’s expansion in retail, wholesale, and data center businesses. He also served as Chairman and Board Member of Telkom Taiwan, where he played a crucial role in the company’s successful operations.

Indarto served for over five years as a member of the Telecommunication Regulatory Affairs Advisory Committee (TRAAC) under Hong Kong’s Office of Communications Authority (OFCA), where he provided critical input on communication policy, new technologies, and regulatory frameworks. He has also served on the Vetting Committee of Personalized Vehicle Registration Marks (PVRMs) with the Hong Kong Transport Department, representing both the Indonesian ethnic community and the telecommunications industry.

Indarto holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunication Information System) from the Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunication) from Telkom Institute of Technology, Indonesia. He has further refined his leadership skills with executive programs in Strategic Decision Making for Leaders at INSEAD (Singapore) and Strategic Investment Management at the London Business School.
