Bali, September 8, 2023 - Participants of the Bali Annual Telkom International Conference (BATIC) 2023, a global telco conference organized by PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) through its subsidiary, Telin, concluded the event with a series of social activities. After two days of presentations, discussions, networking, and collaboration, BATIC participants explored the beauty of Bali in a closing event aimed at introducing Bali's tourism potential to the attendees.
The social activities, organized in collaboration with local communities, provided BATIC participants with a unique experience of touring several prominent tourist destinations in Bali. These activities also served as a sneak peek that motivated participants to plan future visits to Bali.
There were five activity options available to participants, including golfing at the Bali National Golf Club, exploring Sababay Winery with a tour and tasting of local wines, stand-up paddleboarding at Jimbaran Beach, exploring the town of Ubud while learning Balinese dance, and trying the unique art of linocut printing.
The social activities on the final day of BATIC 2023 were not just a festive closing ceremony but also a constructive step in introducing participants to the charm of Bali and supporting local economic development. By collaborating with local communities and local businesses as vendors or service providers, BATIC also played a role in empowering the local economy, supporting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in Bali. In addition to raising awareness of Bali as an attractive conference destination, this event also left a positive impact on the local community that actively participated in making BATIC 2023 a success.
