BATIC 2025 Day 2 Conference: Global Tech Leaders Unveiling Technology in Shaping Today’s World

BATIC 2025 Day 2 Conference: Global Tech Leaders Unveiling Technology in Shaping Today’s World

Bali, 28 August 2025 – The second conference day of the Bali Annual Telkom International Conference (BATIC) 2025, hosted by PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin) was filled with energy, collaboration, and inspiring conversations as delegates gathered in Bali to exchange ideas and strengthen global business relationships.

The day began on a lively note with a Charity Fun Run, bringing participants together outside the conference halls and setting the spirit of connection that carried through the entire day.

With the theme “Unveiling Technology in Shaping Today’s World”, the sessions highlighted how artificial intelligence (AI), immersive technologies, and disruptive innovations are reshaping industries and creating new opportunities for collaboration. Rather than just focusing on technology, discussions emphasized the importance of building partnerships and trust to navigate this digital era together.

One of the highlights was the keynote from Nokia, which spotlighted the growing role of AI in telecom and the need for scalable, sustainable solutions. Practical takeaways included how collaboration such as GPU-as-a-service with Telin can unlock innovation and drive new business models.

Another key moment was the Keynote Panel: Unleashing AI – Transforming Operations and Services for the Digital Era, which featured thought leaders from Microsoft, Telkom Indonesia, Akamai, SoftBank, Salesforce, BT International, and Tencent Cloud. While the discussions covered AI’s technical promise, the real value lay in the shared vision of collaboration, combining technology, talent, and partnerships to drive meaningful growth.

The day also featured an engagement session led by Stanley Manzini of EDCH, who inspired participants to adopt future-ready mindsets and emphasized collaboration over competition as a key driver of success in today’s fast-changing landscape.

Beyond the stage, delegates immersed themselves in the TelinPRO Insights: Design Thinking Workshop, exploring customer engagement solutions like WhatsApp Business and CPaaS. This hands-on session encouraged marketers and product leaders to rethink communication strategies while also providing opportunities for networking and sharing experiences.

Business networking also came to life through several strategic partnership signings, including collaborations between:

• CMC Telecom and Telin to strengthen Vietnam – Indonesia enterprise connectivity,

• Digital Realty Bersama and Telin to build the future of data center interconnection,

• XLSmart and Telin for network API services, and

• ITCO and Telin for the development of the ICE II Subsea Cable System.

Meanwhile, the Expert Spotlight Stage offered a more intimate networking format through “silent talks” by Telin EmpowHer, APJII, Biznet, i3Forum, Trade and Invest British Columbia, and TDI (NeutraDC Nxera Batam), giving delegates fresh insights while fostering business conversations on the exhibition floor.

Day 2 of the BATIC conference also carried the spirit of connection and collaboration. The event floor transformed into a vibrant hub where business leaders, partners, and innovators exchanged ideas and built meaningful relationships. With its blend of formal discussions and informal networking opportunities, BATIC once again proved to be more than just a conference, it is a platform where partnerships are strengthened, friendships are nurtured, and future opportunities are born. This unique balance between knowledge-sharing and relationship-building is what continues to make BATIC a much-anticipated gathering in the Asia Pacific digital ecosystem.

BATIC 2025 has been buzzing with energy since Tuesday, August 26, starting off with a series of pre-event activities that set the tone for the days ahead. While the conference itself officially began on Wednesday, August 27, today’s agenda marks the second day of the conference and at the same time, the third day of the overall BATIC experience.

As the sun set, delegates gathered for the Farewell Dinner, enjoying music, food, and camaraderie in true BATIC tradition, celebrating not only the exchange of knowledge but also the friendships and partnerships that will carry forward well beyond Bali.
