CTO Talks Spooktober Themed "Dare to Process Your Personal Data"   To Raise Awareness on Personal Data Security in the Digital Era

Jakarta, November 1, 2024 — PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin) successfully held the CTO Talks Spooktober event themed "Dare to Process Your Personal Data" in a hybrid format at Telkom Landmark Tower, Jakarta. The event aimed to increase understanding and awareness of the importance of personal data protection and management in the digital era. Conducted both onsite and virtually, the event attracted hundreds of participants, showcasing Telin’s commitment to empowering the public with knowledge on data security.  

The event, hosted by Telin’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Abdul Rahman Ansyori, kicked off with a special performance from the Xbricks group, adding a touch of creative energy and Halloween spirit. 

During the event, Telin’s CTO, encouraged participants to better understand cybersecurity risks and the steps that can be taken to protect personal data from misuse. The CTO Talks Spooktober event featured four experienced panelists from various Telin  unit who shared insights and experiences on secure and ethical data management.  

The discussion began with the importance of having the courage to responsibly process personal data, followed by an in-depth exploration of data protection techniques, including encryption and two-factor authentication. The panelists also emphasized the need to effectively integrate technology and regulation to safeguard personal data in the digital era. 

In the next session, participants were invited to engage in an interactive Q&A with the panelists, where they could ask questions about data management and the challenges of maintaining privacy in the digital world.  

 The event concluded with a quiz for all participants and a message from Abdul Rahman Ansyori, urging everyone to be more mindful of their personal data and proactive in applying the data security measures discussed. "Personal data is a valuable asset in the digital age. Everyone should have the courage and knowledge to manage and protect both their own and others' data," he concluded in his closing remarks.
