Jakarta, April 11, 2025 – PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin) reaffirmed its commitment to workplace inclusivity and women empowerment through its flagship program, Be Woman On Board (BWOB), as part of the #TelinEmpowHer campaign. BWOB provides an opportunity for aspiring female leaders to actively participate towards high-level strategic decision-making, learn about planning, company culture, and the development of a collaborative mindset. This program encourages diverse thinking and equips participants with leadership skills that are crucial for the future.
As part of this program, Telin hosted the BWOB Finalist Panel Discussion on April 11, 2025. This event was an important moment for the eight selected female semifinalist to join Panel Session, and choose Best Four Winner to shadow the Board of Directors (BoD) for two days and share their personal journeys and reflections on their roles and responsibilities. The session not only served as a platform for sharing experiences but also provided a space for mutual inspiration.
The event began with welcoming remarks to all attendees, from the BoD, Steering Committee, and the participants. During the Finalist Speaking session, participants shared personal reflections on their current roles. The discussion then continued with a BoD Q&A session, where each BoD directly asked questions to all participants. This interaction reinforced the spirit of collaboration and equality that lies at the core of the BWOB program.
One of the most memorable moments during the Q&A session was when Budi Satria Dharma Purba, Telin CEO, asked a thought-provoking question: "What will you do after participating in this program? What goals do you want to achieve moving forward?" This was followed by other intriguing questions, with equally insightful answers from the participants. Each reflection and vision shared by the participants demonstrated the depth of their thinking and their readiness to take on larger leadership roles, making the session a source of valuable insights and inspiration.
The event concluded with an inspiring message from VP Legal & Compliance, Laila Fitriana, "As Mr. Budi said, don’t fight it, but support each other. We’re not here to compete with each other; we’re here to complete each other." This message embodies the essence of solidarity and support among women in creating an inclusive workplace environment.
The event ended on a high note, filled with enthusiasm and joy, as the participants and Telin leadership gathered for a group photo.
