Singapura, 5 June 2015 – Telkom through its subsidiary, Telekomunikasi Indonesia International Pte. Ltd. Singapore (Telin Singapore) builds Telin Singapore Data Center and Telecommunication Hub located in SingaporeThe development was inaugurated through groundbreaking ceremony by the governments of both countries, namely Minister of SOE Indonesia, Rini M. Soemarno and Senior Minister of State (Trade and Industry), Lee Yi Shyan in Jurong, Singapore (5/6). Also present was Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore Dr Andri Hadi, Telkom's President Director, Alex J. Sinaga, E-Business Director Ir. Azhar Hasyim, M.IT, Top Management from IDA / EDB Singapore, as well as Telin Singapore's partners and customers.

Telin Singapore Data Center and Communication Hub is one form of regional synergy between Indonesia and Singapore. This is marked by Singapore Government trust to Telin Singapore to open data center in Jurong.  The data center, called Telin-3, is the third data center owned and managed by Telin Singapore after the data center in Changi and Tai Seng.

Telin Singapore, as a subsidiary of Telin, through tender process has been trusted by the Singapore Government, Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (iDA), Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and Jurong Town Corporation (JTC) to build and operate data center in Jurong. The data center will be built on a land area of ​​8,000 square meters with a gross floor area of ​​20,000 square meters of 5-storey building. The data center, which is targeted to operate in the third quarter of 2016, is expected to strengthen Telin Singapore's position as a strategic hub for Telkom Group that connects Indonesia with other parts of the world.
