Jakarta, 23 December 2016 – At the end of 2016, on December 23, 2016 Telin through the Directorate of Network and Information Technology passed ISO 27001: 2013 certification for international information security standards on IPLC, IP VPN and IP Transit. Recommend letter ISO 27001: 2013 from SGS as an external auditor awarded by Geyna Poernomo Hadi as Lead Auditor received by VP Network Performance, Rahmad Fitriyanto at WHOCC Telin, Pekan Raya Pasar Minggu No.10C, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta on December 27, 2016.
This certification complements the success of maintaining the previous ISO 20000 standard, which has been achieved since 2015. This certification is an acknowledgment from an international institution that Telin is consistently working to improve its credibility as a provider of IPLC, IP VPN and IP Transit services. The achievement of ISO 27001: 2013 certification also proves that Telin is consistent in maintaining information security and improving service quality.
The process of obtaining ISO 27001: 2013 certification has been conducted since March 2016 and continued with the internal audit in August 2016. The implementation of external audit is divided into two stages, stage 1: Location WHOCC Kalibata (Jakarta) on December 1, 2016 and stage 2 : Located at WHOCC Kalibata (Jakarta) and Batam Center & Bukit Dangas on 19 to 23 December 2016.
ISO 27001: 2013 is an international standard that should be applied to the Company's Information Security Management System (SMKI) to show the data that the company maintains complies with security standards. ISO 27001 Standardization itself contains company guidance in implementing, maintaining and improving the performance of information security management system in Company.
