Dili, 1 December 2021 – With so many challenges, adjustments and changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is undeniable that many of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Timor-Leste are struggling in order to survive.
As such, Telkomcel has launced the first end-to-end marketplace in Timor-Leste called MyLoja, with a focus on helping SMEs to rapidly digitize amdist the pandemic. This marketplace, which is fully integrated with the Telin’s TPay electronic wallet for digital payment as well as the MySend expedition on Telin’s MyTimor ride-hailing platform, is the latest innovation from Telin for the people of Timor-Leste.

In his remarks, the Minister of Tourism, Trade and Industry, José Lucas do Carmo da Silva, expressed his highest appreciation to Telkomcel for always supporting the digitization process in Timor-Leste, especially in the productive agriculture, fisheries and tourism sectors. The government as a regulator & facilitator needs partners like Telkomcel who can implement programs that support the progress of society, nation and state. The development of MyLoja is expected to support the people of Timor Leste by boosting economic growth and national economic recovery.
In line with its tagline Everything You Need, MyLoja offers a variety of comprehensive product categories, from various household items, fashion needs, to office needs. This end-to-end marketplace platform showcases products from more than 50 merchants and is inclusively accessible to users of various telecommunication providers.
MyLoja will be fully integrated with the TPay digital wallet and MySend delivery service to ensure secure and convenient operations.
