Shanghai, 17 October 2014 – No doubt that the development of the provision of Content Delivery Network (CDN) both in the world and in Indonesia grew more rapidly. As one of the CDN service providers in Indonesia, Telin participates in Swiftserve CDN Conference 2014 held by Swiftserve CDN, a Singapore-based CDN service provider. The event, held at Westin Bund Hotel, Shanghai, China aims to share experiences on CDN business trends and CDN technology developments. In addition, in this event also discussed the experience and best practice CDN business from experts and fellow CDN players.
The event was attended by several Telco CDN providers from various countries, including Telin, TM (Telecom Malaysia), China Telecom, Escape Axiata, StarHub Singapore, and several other CDN providers in East Asia, Southeast Asia and Middle East.
Conference which lasted for three days (15-17 October 2014) is packaged in the form of sharing, presentations and discussions delivered by experts, CDN players and content providers who use CDN. Some important points discussed in this conference is: (1) how to create new revenue stream for CDN, (2) the e-commerce trend in Chinaandhow business can leverage on web security services in managing web vulnerabilities, (3) new CDN feature trend on security, and(4) the trend of Over The Top (OTT) video services in China and how to monetize OTT video services to generate more revenue.
