The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) in Indonesia discussed Telin's plan to construct the Bifrost Sea Cable Communication System (SKKL) in the Celebes Sea. The meeting focused on ensuring compliance with regulations, including Decree of the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Number 14 of 2021. Telin's CEO, Budi Satria Dharma Purba, emphasized the company's commitment to developing telecommunications infrastructure, with the SKKL Bifrost playing a significant role in regional connectivity. The discussion aimed to address technical issues and clarify allowable routes for submarine cables, aligning with policies to protect local communities and ensure sustainable development.
