Yangon, 9 October 2014 – After more than a year entering the market and contributing to the telecommunication business in Myanmar and has since been awarded the tender of IP Transit Services 2.5G Year 2013 via Mumbai CLS For Myanma Posts and Telecommunications (MPT) with a 3 year contract but in its development at the time of implementation, the IP Transit service used to support internetworking access in Myanmar uses the TELIN Transit IP service, TIXNET in Hong Kong, transferred via China Cross Border-Myanmar, and has been operating since August 1, 2014. This achievement was obtained by Telin as an extension of Telkom in realizing the International Expansion (InEx) program. Related to this, on October 9, 2014 in Yangon, TELIN submitted the Master Service Agreement (MSA) to Myanma Posts and Telecommunications (MPT).
The meeting that took place at a typical traditional Burmese restaurant, Restorant Kone Myint Thar, located at No.69, 7.5 miles, Pyay Road, Mayangone Township, Yangon, Myanmar, there are several important agendas besides the delivery of the Master Service Agreement (MSA) among other things, discussing the business relationship between Telin and MPT in the future. But the important thing is to build a closer relationship with MPT as Telin's customers and business partners.
The meeting, which runs from 16.30 to 9.30 pm, begins with an introduction by each group, Telin and MPT, followed by Master Service Agreement (MSA) submission, and Telin's souvenir gift to MPT, submitted directly by Telin's Marketing and Sales Director , Natigor Sitorus to the Chief Engineer of MPT, U Sai Saw Lin Tun. The meeting continued with a dinner party and closed with a photo event with all the attendees in attendance.
