JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Monitor the network health, customer demand, anticipate risks, resolve issues and initiate corrective action as appropriate.
- Work with stakeholders (networking engineers/tech program managers/senior management) to define requirements and processes.
- Work with stakeholders (networking engineers/Datacenter technicians/Supply Chain) to ensure on-time delivery of critical datacenter capacity.
- Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and negotiate the trade-offs needed.
- Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis, End to end responsibility for the program’s execution and success.
- Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
- Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
- Meets/exceeds Telin leadership principles requirements for this role.

Safety Aspect :
Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture. As a facility owner team, ensure remediation of safety risks/issues in conjunction with other teams. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster strong safety culture.
Engineering & facility operations and maintenance :
- You will be supporting electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS’s), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.
- Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical, mechanical, emergency generator, HVAC and fire/life safety equipment within the data center.
- Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs
- Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures
- Drive innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities
A day in the life, you will :
- Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log- taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
- Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance
- Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Occasionally Move objects/material (weight limits in accordance with regulations)
- Work in outdoor weather conditions, noisy environments and at heights and from ladders.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Education : Min. Diploma in IT or Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Certified in IT Certification (Preferred)

- Good Knowledge of IP Networks, Basic Transport Networks, & IT Appliances
- Network : Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), switching, and network security.
- Good OS knowledge oriented to maintenance and administrative purposes (Windows or Linux)
- Experience with Networking and troubleshooting (HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, Routing and Switching, Load Balancing)
- Telecommunication system. Understanding of network architectures (e.g., LAN, WAN, VPN), Knowledge of telecommunications technologies,
- Problem solving & troubleshooting. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

- Candidates should possess strong technical skills related to network operations and maintenance. This includes: Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls, Knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and services, Experience with network monitoring tools and software to ensure optimal performance and uptime, and familiarity with both hardware and virtual environments, as well as cloud services.
- Candidates with experience and ability to manage problem lifecycle that includes not only identifying and documenting problems but also coordinating efforts to resolve them and implementing preventive measures.
- Experience in network design and implementation is crucial. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to plan and deploy network solutions that meet organizational needs, ensuring scalability and reliability, and integrate on-premises and cloud solutions to provide flexibility and efficiency in IT infrastructure.
