Jakarta, 15 September 2021 - The Telinnovation 2021 initiative wrapped up virtually on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 with a final event which was joined by Telin CEO Budi Satria Dharma Purba (Busat), Telin CTO Nanang Hendarno, and Telin CFBPRMO Doni Andriansyah, Senior Leaders, and Teliners from both Headquarters and Global Offices. The Final Event Telinnovation 2021 also featured EVP of Digital & Next Business PT Telkom Indonesia Saiful Hidajat plus Principal Tribe Innovator and former OLX Group & Udemy CEO Daniel Tumiwa as speakers.
Telin VP Human Capital Wahyudi Handriyanto opened the event with a report on Telinnovation 2021, starting with the kick-off and sharing session held on June 25, 2021, and continuing with a Design Sprint from Week 1 to Week 3 July 2021 where the participants used materials from the Knowledge Management Telin portal to learn on their own and innovate, followed by submission of their ideas on July 23, 2021. A total of 49 teams participated, consisting of 21 teams in Product Innovation category and 28 teams in Process Innovation category. Afterward, from the fourth of July until the first week of August, an On Desk Assessment (ODA) was held to decide which teams should advance to the next round. Six teams from each category for a total of 12 teams got through and on August 18-19, they were invited to pitch to the BOD, who then selected the winner.
Wahyudi Handriyanto’s report was followed by official remarks from Busat, who congratulated the winners and participants. “First of all, I would like to congratulate all the winners. I really appreciate all the innovation that you have done, I also appreciate all the participants of Tellinovation 2021. Innovation is really important for us at the company and it's really important for Telin to drive innovation, not as an event that delivers winners, but to become Telin’s culture. So that's why I would like to encourage everyone to participate in all the events that we have towards boosting the innovation culture within this company. The most important thing for a company is the sustainability of innovation within that company.” Then he officially launched Telinnovation 2022.
Next, Saiful and Daniel shared their knowledge with the participants. Saiful gave a presentation on “Telkom’s Engine for Digital Innovation”, He began to explain how companies need to be obsessed with the customers, boost digital business, expedite new markets, and deploy lean operation excellence to achieve health and sustainable profitability. “We have only two choices in business, innovate or we die. There’s no other way, so, we have to survive through innovation.”
As for Daniel, he shared his insight on Innovative Thinking. “An innovative thinking is a thinking process on what problem you want to solve with the best customer experiences in mind as the outcome.” At the end of the event, the MCs held a QnA session with the speakers.

Description: SeFHa (Self Fault Handling Application), an application where digital connectivity customers can perform self-fault handling related to their services in a way that can be integrated with customer portals, comprising IPLC or IEPL layer-2 services.

Description: Integration of various digital marketing channels, CRM platforms and BI platforms into one platform to obtain Marketing and Sales Qualified Leads, perform automation, simplify inquiry management, accelerate responses and monitor customer feedback when using Telin products or services.
2nd Winner: Siap Pak

Description: Next-fix is an embedded monitoring dashboard tool for Neutrafix that collects all related data from different tools towards driving process improvement and added value.
3rd Winner: Telin Signalling Buffet (TSB)
Member: Willy Koesprasetyo, Doni Ismondo, & Mohamad Saefurahman.
Description: Telin has two signaling roaming services, SCCP (MSU) and Diameter Signaling (DSU). The team merged these two signaling services under one buffet pricing to give simplicity and a competitive unit price to the customer.
