In the next session, EVP Voice and Mobility Telin Nicholas Soo spoke on the “Transforming Telco Industry in the Digital Age” alongside the CEO of Vox Carrier, Ehsan Ahmadi, and a Partner at Hadaara Consulting, Carl Roberts. Nicholas shared his perspective from a State-Owned Company on Digital Transformation.
“From Telin’s perspective, I try to look at it at transformation in two parts. One part is the internal [component] and the other part is the products and services that go external. When we talk about transformation, we need to look back into our processes and business. What is it that we can digitalize to ensure the information and data are accessible on-demand, at the press of a button, to be presented in the most presentable way? The internal part concerns internal organization, which must embrace all these processes and digitalization before we can even tackle externally. Externally, we’re looking at what sort of digital services and solutions are we going to look as we move forward.”
Wrapping up the last session, Chief Investment Officer Mitratel Hendra Purnama talked about “Introducing MTEL, The Largest Digital Infrastructure in Indonesia.” Mitratel, the largest telecommunication tower operator in Indonesia, focuses on building the tower ecosystem to support quality improvement as well as advances in telecommunication technology that will support the development of Indonesia’s digital economy.
