Jakarta, October 2, 2025 – The Mobile Ecosystem Forum (MEF), in collaboration with PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin) successfully hosted the MEF Leadership Forum Indonesia Indonesia and MEF Meet-Up Jakarta 2025, bringing together visionaries, innovators, and decision-makers to shape the future of Indonesia’s mobile and digital ecosystem.
Carrying the theme “From Telco APIs to Agentic AI - Transforming Southeast Asia’s Connected Future”, the forum explored key topics driving digital transformation, including mobile intelligence, the API economy, next-gen communications, AI in customer experience, and the future of digital payments in an AI-driven economy. The event served as a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and highlighting innovations that will define Southeast Asia’s digital growth. Telin played an active role throughout the program with its leaders featured across multiple keynote sessions, panels, and product showcases.

Nicholas Soo, SVP Group Sales Strategy & Enabler, opened the conference with his Keynote and the fireside session titled “Powering the Archipelago’s Ambition – Telin's Role in Forging Indonesia's Digital Future”, which highlighted Indonesia’s roadmap toward achieving a GDP target of USD 130 billion by 2030 and Telin’s role in building regional connectivity and supporting digital transformation. He also participated in the discussion “From Touchpoints to Conversations: The AI Leap in Customer Experience”, which explored how AI enables truly contextual engagement through mobile-first platforms. He was joined on the panel by Ishan Nahar, Senior Principal at Kearney; Sandip More, CTO and Co-Founder of Conversive; and Max Wang, Head of Cloud Communications International Business Operations at Alibaba Cloud.

John Tolton, SVP Group Voice Mobility & Marketplace, took part in a panel on “How Mobile Intelligence is Redrawing Strategic Playbooks”, exploring how analytics drives competitive advantage and revenue growth, alongside the launch of the MEF Country Spotlight Report – Indonesia. He was joined on the panel by Matt Ekram, Advisor at MEF; Sonny Hendra Sudaryana, Acting Director of Digital Ecosystem Development at the Ministry of Communication and Digital the Republic of Indonesia; and Dewi Wahdiniasih, Group Head National & Strategic Enterprise Account at XLSmart.

Ardian Thresnantia Atmaja, Head of Digital Product Development, introduced the evolution of Telin’s CPaaS platform, NeuAPIX, highlighting its integration of APIs, GenAI, and next-gen communication channels for intelligent enterprise engagement.

Wendhyharto Kusumaatmadja, Group Head Digital Initiative, conducted as a Moderator in a panel session “Messaging Reimagined – The New Era of Enterprise Conversations”, highlighting the impact of RCS adoption and showing its role in richer, cross-device customer interactions. The panel also featured Barinderpal Mumick, VP of Business Development at Dotgo; Conor Devine, Director of Global Business Development at Infobip; and Sameer Seth, Managing Director of Peacom Indonesia.
Additionally, A series of insightful panel discussions were also held throughout the day, featuring industry leaders and technology experts who shared perspectives on how connectivity, cybersecurity, and AI are reshaping the telecommunications and digital landscape
The panel session titled “From Pipe to Platform: How Telcos Are Cashing in on Connectivity" brought together Kevin Henry, Director of Strategic Engagement at GSMA APAC; Alfian Manullang, VP of Data Solutions and Digital Financial Services at Telkomsel; Erikson Nazirwan, Country Director Indonesia at IPification; and Melvin Jeffery Chan, SVP Head of Big Data & Monetization at Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison. In this session, the panelists discussed how telcos can further monetize their role as connectivity providers by transforming from traditional “pipes” into digital platforms that offer greater value and new services for end customers.
Continuing the panel discussions, was the conversation on the rising importance of cybersecurity in the age of AI, with the topic of “Cyber Resilience in the Age of Agentic AI.” Mohamed Darweesh, Head of Pre-Sales EMEA & APAC – Network Security at Enea, and Pavel Okhotnikov, Head of Business Development at LANCK Telecom, explored how enterprises can strengthen their cyber resilience amid evolving digital threats.
Closing the day’s discussions was the session on “Agentic AI in Action: From Automation to Autonomous Enterprise.” This panel examined the transformation from traditional automation toward intelligent, self-managing enterprises driven by Agentic AI. Featured on this panel was Rohit Sethi, Senior Principal at Kearney; Prof. Dr. Andry Alamsyah, S.Si, M.Sc., Professor at Telkom University; Amit Goenka, Strategic Solutions, Communications Industry at Salesforce ASEAN; and Kelvin Kok, CEO of Axrail.
Beyond the speaker sessions, the event also included an exhibition area where companies showcased their latest innovations, solutions, and technologies, providing participants with hands-on experiences and opportunities for collaboration.
Following the MEF Leadership Forum Indonesia 2025, the MEF Meet-up Jakarta 2025 was held at Alto Bar on the 20th floor, providing a casual setting for participants to connect and network. The event offered attendees the opportunity to engage with industry peers, share insights, and build professional relationships in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
