Telin EmpowHer 2025: Empowering Women to Build Strong Personal Brands Globally

Jakarta, June 30, 2025The Telin EmpowHer Workshop Q2 2025, themed “Setting the Bar: Teliners Women Brand Persona in Global,” was successfully held and brought together female leaders and young professionals for an inspiring day of learning, motivation, and growth through interactive discussions.

The workshop featured Marissa Anita (Actress | News Anchor | Podcaster) and Telin Chief Commercial Officer Kharisma. In a session moderated by Isabella Nyssa and Dinda Sekar Putri from the EmpowHer Steering Committee, participants learned about the importance of building a strong personal brand on a global stage. The key takeaway from the opening was, “Stand out by building your personal brand through strong brand positioning.

The main objective of the event was to help participants build self-confidence, overcome fears, and master personal branding as a foundation of leadership, while also supporting personal and professional growth.

One of the key sessions of the workshop focused on Brand Positioning—how to strategically position oneself among others, both in personal and professional relationships. Marissa Anita emphasized that building a personal brand is not about being better than others but about being different and authentic.

The discussion also addressed common challenges such as self-doubt and lack of confidence, especially in using foreign languages like English. Marissa highlighted that everything can be learned and stressed the importance of shifting away from an inferior mindset, particularly when dealing with different backgrounds, Essentially, we are all equal. Everyone comes from different backgrounds but shares the same goals. Never let an ‘inferior’ or ‘inlander’ mentality hold you back.

Participants were also encouraged to adopt a lifelong learning mindset. In today’s era, learning is no longer limited to classrooms—people can learn from podcasts, books, mentors, or direct experiences. Marissa also reminded participants that anxiety or nervousness is normal and can be a sign of preparedness and seriousness in facing challenges.

The workshop ended with a fun interactive quiz that reinforced the key lessons and left a lasting impression. It was a valuable chance for participants to grow their leadership skills, build confidence, and improve their communication and personal branding.
