April 2023 - In order to strengthen the relationship and our faith, especially in the holy month of Ramadan through religious activities and charity, Telin sets an example of corporate responsibility by giving back to the community and making a difference in the lives of those in needs. As a part of its initiative, Telin is supporting a number of local and International communities for Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr Charity 2023.
In Domestic, the company reached out to people in Dumai, Surabaya, Batam, Cianjur, Jakarta, and Manado making a meaningful impact in the lives of many individuals and families around Telin’s Network Area offices. The activity was carried out during April 2023, as part of Telin's ongoing commitment to involve and provide better impact in the communities along the holy month of Ramadan, through our Corporate Social Responsibility in Education pillar.
On April 5th, 2023, Telin, together with X-Factor team, successfully carried out “Digital Literacy Program” as part of Sahabat Pintar #TelinforCommunity program to Anak Yatim and Dhuafa Peduli Bersama Orphanage in Dumai. The activity was attended by Telin's CEO. The charity event was aimed on empowering underprivileged children to achieve their dreams through education through both online and offline activities. By providing the Digital Literacy Program, Telin took part to grow the communities around us not only providing mere donation, but also give more valuable content as to introduce them to digital world, which can benefit now and in the future.
On April 6th 2023, Telin continued its charitable efforts by donating to Pondok Pesantren Medina Umah Cendekia in Batam. The charity act was a significant event for the company as it was attended by the CFRMO, VP of CA, VP of DCO, VP of DSPD, and VP of FINCON all of whom were deeply committed to making a positive impact in the lives of the children at the orphanage. The charity event started with CFRMO giving material about digital literacy. The charity act was a shining example of Telin's ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, in Education pillar, the same as applied in the previous city.
On April 8th 2023, Telin complete another charity activity, to Mitra Tani Parahyangan in Cianjur. The charity event was attended by the VP of Corporate Affairs. The charity event was a mass circumcision in Mitra Tani Parahyangan, and also giving out donation as part of Telin's ongoing commitment to pay it forward, sharing to our surroundings.
On April 12th 2023, Telin continued its charitable event in Rumah Belajar Cilebut, Bogor. The charity event also officially kicked off the Sahabat Pintar program that will instill in children the positive benefits of digital literacy and was attended by Telin's CEO, CCO, CFRMO, SVP of GCG, SVP of GDSO, VP of CA, and VP of HC. As the #Sahabat Pintar program already started, this will be continue to train more than 40 Teliners who already volunteers, to mentor students with Digital Literacy content.
On April 13th 2023, Telin, also carried out a charitable donation to Save Street Child Surabaya Foundation in Surabaya. The activity was attended by Telin's CEO, SVP of GDSO, VP of DSR, VP of DSP, and VP of PGS. The event was continued with Digital Literacy sharing session for the participants.
On April 14th 2023, Telin visit SMK KEMA Perintis, in Manado, as part of our charity activities series. The charity act was a significant event for the company as it was attended by the CCO who also giving material about the positivity of digital literacy. From SMK KEMA Perintis, they also present their latest innovation on digital technology, which is Attendance RFID Prototype & IP Camera settings.
Telin's charitable efforts are not limited in domestic, but also to some other countries globally. Telin has extended its reach to countries like USA, Timor Leste, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan. The company has donated resources, funding and even volunteer time to a variety of causes and organizations, making a meaningful difference in the lives of many people across the globe in the holy month of Ramadan.
Telin in Timor Leste, Telkomcel, which is a subsidiary of Telin, made a significant impact through its charitable efforts by giving donations to Orphanage and Masjid An-Nur, from April 10th -14th 2023. This charity event was attended by Telin in Timor Leste (Telkomcel) team members. Telin in Timor Leste (Telkomcel) team also extended its support to Social Foundation Dormitory Al Munawarah, a center for children in need.
Next in the US, on April 7th 2023 Telin in USA also took part on the charity event to At-Thohir Mosque. The Mosque serves a large community of Indonesian-Americans and the donation was aimed to support the mosque operational funds and Iftar
On April 14th 2023, Telin in Malaysia showed its support and solidarity with the people of Indonesia, who were living in Malaysia. The team at Telin in Malaysia, made donation to help those who needs or having a struggle living in Malaysia. This charity act was attended by Telin in Malaysia team members through the Holy Ramadan month.
Next in the Hong Kong, on April 19th 2023 Telin in Hong Kong successfully donate fund to DDHK and NU. The donation was aimed to support the DDHK and NU ongoing efforts to provide operational funds and other needs.
On April 27th 2023 Telin in Singapore successfully donate food to Orphanage Homes. This charity event was attended by Telin in Singapore team.
Finally, on April 28th 2023 as a part of Telin’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, Telin in Taiwan successfully completed its last charity act of the year by donating sets of groceries and funds for education to be distributed to Harmony Orphanage and Woman PMI in Taiwan. The charity event was aimed at providing assistance to those who are struggling to make ends meet, particularly during the Ramadan month.
Through this series of Charity events, Telin wants to strengthen our involvement in our surroundings and local communities, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility program both Donation & Education Pillar, which we will continue to conduct throughout 2023, as our main program.
