Kuala Lumpur, 24 September 2019 – Telin’s Chief Commercial Officer, Budi Satria Dharma Purba was one of the speakers during GSMA Mobile 360 Digital Societies. The event was held for three days, started from 24 until 26 September 2019 located in JW Marriot Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
GSMA Mobile 360 Digital Societies conference features an impressive line-up of expert speakers on the topic of collaborative platforms to boost the five digital-society metrics: Digital Citizenship, Digital Commerce, Digital identity, Connectivity and Digital Lifestyle in the APAC region. Budi delivered his thoughts on “How Can MNOs Build a Blockchain Network to Re-shape Digital Commerce”.
He said, "We believe there are a lot of collaboration opportunities for carriers in the blockchain space, e.g. in cross-carrier payments and digital identity”. Along with Budi, the other panellists are Head of Fintech & Blockchain from SoftBank Corporation, Takeshi Fukuizumi and Co-Chair, the Carrier Blockchain Study Group (CBSG) Consortium from TBCASoft, Ling Wu as panel moderator.
Budi’s extensive experiences in global telecommunication community as well as Telin’s role between MNOs and Digital Commerce have been the consideration that he selected as one of the speakers. To add, Telin also takes part of the Carrier Blockchain Study Group (CBSG) consortium to reshape the mobile payment landscape using the TBCASoft Cross-Carrier Payment System Platform.
