Telin's Green Technology is Recognized at the 2021 TJSL and CSR Award

Telin's Green Technology is Recognized at the 2021 TJSL and CSR Award

Jakarta, 14 October 2021 – Telin was pleased to receive a special award for The Most Prominent Corporate Supporting Social Responsibility (TJSL) in the Environment Pillar in the Stated-Owned Enterprises’ (SOE) Subsidiaries category at the 1st TJSL and CSR Award held on October 14th, 2021 at JW Marriott Hotel, Jakarta, Indonesia.

Hosted by BUMN Track in collaboration with Indonesia Shared Value Institute (ISVI), the inaugural event themed “SOE’s Contribution in Supporting the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)'s Based on ISO 26000” aims to recognize SOEs and subsidiaries who have implemented Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs in line with Ministerial Regulation PER-05/MBU/04/2021 concerning SOEs’ Social Environmental Responsibility.

Telin CTO Nanang Hendarno received the award on Telin’s behalf.  “This award, which adds to the international certifications that Telin Group has previously received, shows our commitment to apply green technology to our business and generate shared value for our stakeholders, towards the sustainability of Indonesia and the world,” he stated.

The TJSL&CSR Award 2021 category consists of four SDG pillars, namely the Social, Economic, Environmental, and Legal and Governance Pillars. Telin stood out in the Environmental Pillar with a focus on Telin Singapore's Green Data Center and Telin Timor Leste's Green Base Transceiver Station (BTS) as a role model for Telin Group for an excellent form of SDGs implementation towards the environment as well as providing added value for the company.

This year, a total of 71 SOEs and their subsidiaries participated in the event with 40 companies passed the second stage of the judging selection, which was followed by a presentation process and an in-depth interview of the material in front of the jury virtually.
